Rockets Look To Bounce Back Against Timberwolves in Game 4

The Houston Rockets take on the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center on Monday evening in Game 4 of their Western Conference first-round playoff series. The Rockets lead the series, 2-1. The Timberwolves (1-2) came into Saturday's Game 3 with their backs against the wall, as they'd dropped their second straight game to the Rockets (2-1) by 20 points in Game 2 last Wednesday night. However, they responded in fine fashion on their home floor, outscoring Houston 69-54 in the second half to seal a 121-105 victory. James Harden led the way for the Rockets in the losing effort with 29 points, a total he supplemented with seven rebounds, seven assists and one steal. Chris Paul delivered 17 points, six assists and three rebounds. Eric Gordon followed with 15 points, two boards and one assist. Ryan Anderson poured in 12 points and added three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. Gerald Green tallied 10 points and one rebound. Clint Capela mustered seven points but also hauled in 11 rebounds, dished out one assist and recorded one block. Trevor Ariza finished with six points, four boards and two steals. On the injury front, the Rockets will continue to be without the services of Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) in Game 4. Jimmy Butler paced the Timberwolves' attack with 28 points and added seven rebounds, five assists and one steal. Jeff Teague registered 23 points, eight assists, three rebounds and one steal. Andrew Wiggins managed 20 points, five boards, five assists, one steal and one block. Karl-Anthony Towns generated an 18-point, 16-rebound double-double that also included three assists, two blocks and one steal. Derrick Rose led the bench with 17 points and also dished out two assists and recorded a pair of steals. The Timberwolves come into Monday's contest without any short-term injuries to report.
